Aave V3 Risk Stewards propose doubling PT-srUSDe and USDT0 supply caps amid near-full utilization

Aave Governance Forum · Jul 15, 2026 2:42 PM EDT

LlamaRisk's latest Aave V3 review has prompted Risk Stewards to propose doubling the supply cap for PT-srUSDe-22OCT2026 from 25M to 50M on the Core instance, after utilization reached 98.3%. Separately, both supply and borrow caps for USDT0 on Aave V3 Monad are proposed to double. The PT-srUSDe position is notable for its risk concentration: the top suppliers carry health factors between 1.00 and 1.18 with a median of 1.03, and roughly 60% of supply is held by a single entity.

For Armada's crypto repo desk, this is a direct risk signal. PT-srUSDe is a Pendle yield-stripped token backed by staked USDe, an asset in the same collateral adjacency zone as stablecoins Armada may accept or encounter in counterparty portfolios. A liquidation cascade triggered by a modest srUSDe depeg or Pendle PT price dislocation near the October 2026 maturity could create correlated stress across stablecoin and yield-token markets, affecting client collateral valuations and repo margin calls.

Suggested action Review Armada exposure to srUSDe-correlated collateral; flag low health factor concentration to risk team as a potential contagion scenario.
